As a trainer at ITCS, you will be an integral part of shaping the future of aspiring cybersecurity professionals and web developers. This role allows you to blend your passion for technology with your drive for mentoring and education. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality training to students in cybersecurity and web development. You will take an active role in crafting a hands-on, interactive learning experience for students, focusing on real-world applications.
Designing course materials, lectures, labs, and projects that blend theory with practice. Work closely with the curriculum development team to ensure the courses reflect the most current industry standards and methodologies. Ensure that students gain skills and knowledge that are directly applicable to their careers.
Deliver live or recorded training sessions, online or in-person. Engage with students through interactive demonstrations, assignments, and in-depth analysis of real-world case studies. Foster an environment of collaborative learning through discussions and group activities. Tailor teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
Guide students on their learning path and career growth. Offer personalized mentorship, helping students with project work, problem-solving, and career development. Serve as a technical expert to assist students in overcoming challenges, especially in hands-on labs and real-world applications.
Design and administer regular assessments (tests, quizzes, and assignments) to track student progress. Provide constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams. Ensure students are consistently achieving the learning outcomes and meeting industry benchmarks.
Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in cybersecurity and web development. Attend conferences, webinars, and workshops to maintain up-to-date knowledge. Leverage this knowledge to keep course content relevant and incorporate new tools and techniques into your teaching materials.
Work closely with fellow trainers, course designers, and the management team to continuously improve the course structure, content, and delivery. Participate in regular team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and workshops to share knowledge and best practices. Help organize and support internal workshops, hackathons, and community outreach initiatives.
We are looking for candidates with a deep technical background, passion for teaching, and the ability to adapt and innovate in a fast-evolving field. If you meet the following criteria, we would love to hear from you:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Additional certifications and specialized qualifications are highly valued.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity topics such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, malware analysis, ethical hacking, cryptography, network security, and security operations. Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, React, Angular, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
At least 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or full-stack web development. Previous experience teaching or mentoring students in a technical field is a plus. Proven hands-on experience with practical projects, coding, and security practices.
Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Full Stack Development certifications are highly recommended.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner. Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor students. Patience, creativity, and a passion for technology and education.
